North Texas Farm to Table Symposium | Mark Neal, Neal Family Vineyards
We had a fabulous turnout for our Winter Symposium 2025, despite the terrible weather. The sold-out crowd included farmers, ranchers, gardeners, and wine enthusiasts alike. They braved the winter cold to learn from speaker, Mark Neal, about Organic, Regenerative, and Biodynamic growing techniques. Neal Family Vineyards is Certified Organic, Regenerative Organic Certified, and Certified Biodynamic.
Rick Wells, SPF founder, spoke about the milestones that we’ve been making at McKinney Roots donation farm, where we recently harvested 427 heads of lettuce in just one day.
The night included an amazing buffet curated by Chefs Andrea Shackelford of Harvest at the Masonic and Trey Pope of Rick’s Chophouse, and we were delighted to sip from Mark Neal’s very own Neal Family Vineyard’s 2022 Zinfandel, Rutherford Dust, and 2022 Vermentino, Rutherford Dust.
