North Texas Farm-to-Table Symposium | Mike Bell

This Symposium featured local farmer Mike Bell from Dallas Half Acre Farm. Mike grows diversified fruits and vegetables with an emphasis on year-round salad production profitably on his tiny half-acre lot, distributing the produce through a hyper local network of customers.

During the presentation Mike talked about how he’s built his farm affordably and sustainably, growing his customer base organically over time. With a full time job in education, he emphasized the importance of using time wisely and efficiently.
